Dallas, Texas – With a kind project meant to keep children nourished over the holidays, Dallas ISD is helping families over the winter season. For all children aged 1–18 and for children with impairments up to age 21 the district is providing free “pop-up” meals. With two days’ worth of breakfast and lunch to enjoy at home, this thoughtful program guarantees no youngster is left behind.
Convenient for busy homes, the meals are easy to heat and serve. Children have to be present at the pickup points to be able to get the meals. Two main dates— Monday, December 23, 2024 and Monday, December 30, 2024—offer the service during the break. Families are urged to arrive early since meals are offered first come, first served.
