Rockwall, Texas – The Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office is making one more push to get the school supplies youngsters need through its ongoing 9-1-1 Cares school supply drive. The start of a new school year is just around the corner. The goal of the project is to help kids around Rockwall County, but the deadline is coming up rapidly. Donations will only be accepted until this Saturday.
This yearly campaign is very important for making sure that students of all ages have the essential supplies they need to do well in school. The list of things you need for school includes pencils, folders, spiral notebooks, binders, and backpacks. The department is also collecting crayons, tissues, and hand sanitizers, both little and large, as well as disinfectant wipes to keep the learning environment clean and healthy.
