The Mobile Food Pantry will come back to Rockwall to offer fresh fruits and vegetables twice in July

Rockwall, Texas – Next week, the Mobile Food Pantry will come back to Rockwall to offer fresh fruits and vegetables and other important items to people in need. The pantry will make two trips in July at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, which is located at 1305 Damascus Road. It is being set up in a partnership between Catholic Charities Dallas and the North Texas Food Bank.

People can pick up food on Tuesday, July 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and again on Saturday, July 19, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Anyone can use the service, and it doesn’t cost anything.

The Mobile Food Pantry comes to the Rockwall region twice a month on set days. At each stop, visitors obtain a selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other basic foods. The goal of this project is to help people in the area who might not otherwise have access to healthy food by making it easier for them to get it.

The people in charge also want people to bring up groceries for people who can’t come in person. People who are picking up food for someone else should have important information ready for the person who will be receiving it. This includes their full name, cell phone number, email address, mailing address, date of birth, and the number of people living in their home, broken down by age group (children, adults, and seniors).

All confirmed dates:

  • July 15, 2025 Tuesday – from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
  • August 19, 2025 Tuesday – from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
