Rockwall, Texas – On Friday, July 25, the City of Rockwall Parks and Recreation staff will hold Family Fun Friday: Splash Day at Harry Myers Park. This is a great chance for families to cool off in the summer. The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at 945 E Washington St. and will be full of fun, refreshing drinks, and community spirit.
People of all ages are welcome to come to a fun evening with big water slides to slip and splash down, a variety of yard activities to keep everyone busy, and food trucks with delicious food that will fulfill everyone’s hunger. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, from infants who want to splash around to parents who want to relax with their neighbors.
Families are welcome to bring towels, sunscreen, and a lot of enthusiasm for a day out. Admission is free. Guests can also find out more about the event or other local programs by going to PlayRockwall.com, the city’s site for news and information about recreational activities.

City of Rockwall officials want the event to not only provide people a relief from the heat of summer, but also bring Rockwall residents together to make memories that will last a lifetime. Splash Day is guaranteed to be one of the best days of the summer because it has both fun things to do like water slides and yard games and easy access to food trucks.
