Rockwall, Texas – As early voting in Rockwall County nears its end date, STAR Transit shows its dedication to public service by providing free round-trip transportation to local election places. This project, which aims to get all registered voters to the polls, covers the whole of STAR Transit service area, making sure that people can get to the polls until the end of early voting on November 3.

People who want to take advantage of this chance need to plan ahead, because rides need to be reserved at least 30 minutes before they are supposed to leave. During normal work hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., STAR Transit has dedicated agents ready to help with scheduling.

The early voting program covers the whole STAR Transit service area during the week, but residents of Mesquite and Balch Springs will also be able to use it.
