Leading Rockwall Class of 2025 has a varied membership from small businesses, local government, and healthcare among other fields. Among other committed professionals on the list are Amy M. Davis of Vixen Wellness & Medical Spa, Brandon Buschold of Integrated Defense Products, and Alison Belliveau of Rockwall ISD. These individuals were chosen because they reflect a cross-section of the active community in Rockwall County and have great power to bring forward positive change.
The program is designed to improve leadership skills through a series of in-depth seminars and team-building activities and it has been an integral part of the community since its start in 1997. The participants will attend monthly full-day events including guest speakers, hands-on activities, and tours meant to promote relationships and community involvement over the next nine months.
A major component of Leadership Rockwall is its focus on actual community projects. Every class is assigned to find and carry out a project addressing a local need; past projects include the building of a dog park and the renovation of community service facilities.
Apart from helping its participants to acquire strong leadership skills, the Leadership Rockwall program seeks to inculcate a strong sense of community involvement and responsibility. Growing leaders are encouraged to be creative and team players toward Rockwall County’s benefit. The ultimate objective is to equip people to step into leadership positions that significantly support the sustainability and expansion of the community.
Participants will get mentoring and direction from this year’s class advisers, Ben Northcutt from Milestone Home Service Co. and Patricia Mejia from the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County. Their knowledge and experience are priceless tools that improve program effectiveness and learning opportunities.
The Leadership Rockwall Class of 2025 is set to be a transforming group that carries on the legacy of producing leaders ready to significantly benefit their communities.
Reflecting their dedication to promote leadership and community development, the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce expressed excitement for the possible effects this new class will have on the local community.
