Where to celebrate Fourth of July in North Texas? Check events in Rockwall, Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington and Frisco

Texas – As communities around North Texas get ready for a great Fourth of July, the area will be filled with patriotic energy. Cities from Dallas to Rockwall are getting ready for America’s birthday in style with full schedules of music, parades, fireworks, and activities for the whole family.

On July 4, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Fair Park Fourth will turn the historic grounds into a lively festival in Dallas. People can play games with their kids, look at local merchants, and watch live performances before gathering around the lagoon for a stunning firework show. For those who want to get away from the summer heat, the Children’s Aquarium and Texas Discovery Gardens will also be open.

Thousands of people are anticipated to go to Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth for the 18th annual Fort Worth’s Fourth. Families may enjoy inflatables, water slides, and live music by Metalshop and the U.S. Air Force’s rock band starting at 5 p.m. At 9:30 p.m., an amazing firework show over the Trinity River will end the night. Guests are welcome to bring tubes and float in a roped-off area of the river until 8 p.m., which will make the evening more fun.

The big Independence Day Parade in Arlington kicks off the celebrations on July 4 at 9 a.m. in downtown. The parade will have more than 120 participants, including festive floats and marching bands. The theme for the 60th year is “Shining Bright Since ’65.” The night before, July 3, Light Up Arlington will take over the city center with live music, food trucks, and a stunning fireworks finale, making sure that the celebration lasts for two days.

Frisco, on the other hand, is holding its Freedom Fest over two days, starting on July 3 at Kaleidoscope Park with a cornhole competition, a Dachshund Dash, and a drone display. Classic vehicles, live bands, and the Texas Ice Cream Festival will all be at Simpson Plaza on July 4. After the FC Dallas game, there will be a big fireworks show to cap the festivities. This will be a sweet and exciting end to the holiday for families.

In Rockwall, excitement is already building for the city’s annual Independence Day celebration. The festivities begin in the morning with a procession that leaves Wilkerson Stadium at 11 a.m. and goes through downtown before ending at Dobbs Elementary. People who want to see the parade should get there early to acquire a good place along the route, where bright floats and lively marching bands will set the mood for the event.

Later in the day, the main part of Rockwall’s celebration moves to Harry Myers Park. Food trucks will be open at 5 p.m. and will serve everything from conventional fair foods to local favorites. At 6:45 p.m., everyone will look up at the skies to see a parachute jumper display that will be fun for people of all ages.

Big as Texas will play live music starting at 7 p.m. and ending with a big fireworks extravaganza that will light up the night sky over the park. From 5 to 10:30 p.m., free trolleys will take people between Downtown and the park. For those who want to drive, there will be paid parking available.

North Texans have many opportunities to get together, celebrate freedom, and make memories that will last a lifetime at all the activities happening in the region. These Independence Day events, like a music by the river, a parade, or a fireworks show, are sure to bring people together to celebrate the 249th birthday of the United States.
