Rockwall, Texas – The Rockwall Art League is set to host a special evening this September, promising to be both enlightening and inspiring for art enthusiasts and the general public alike. On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the league will be welcoming the talented Jessica Fuentes as their guest speaker at Cavender Nissan, located at 1700 Interstate 30 Frontage Road.
A Glimpse into Jessica’s World
Hailing from Fort Worth, Jessica Fuentes is not just an artist; she is also an educator, author, and museum consultant. A proud alumna of the University of Texas at Dallas, Jessica graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art and performance in 2004, owing to her full academic achievement scholarship. She further expanded her academic prowess by obtaining a master’s degree in art from the University of North Texas in 2013. Currently, Jessica is making her mark as the News Editor for Glasstire and leads the Kinfolk House as its Executive Director. Her commitment to art is further evident as she serves on the board of the initiative, Make Art with Purpose.
More than Just a Talk
The evening will be more than just a talk about her journey. Jessica will delve deep into her professional experiences in the world of art administration, her personal journey as an artist, and also discuss the award-winning pieces from the Rockwall Art League Fall Show. For those curious to see her work before the event, her portfolio is available on her personal website, jessicafuentes.com, and her Instagram profile @jessicafuentes83.
