Rockwall, Texas – Rockwall Community Playhouse is set to delight audiences with its latest comedic production, “Nunsense.” This uproarious international sensation revolves around five nuns who find themselves in quite the predicament after their cook, Sister Julia (Child of God), accidentally poisons 52 of their fellow sisters. With a pressing need to raise funds for the burials, these spirited sisters transform the school gymnasium into a stage for a variety show, aiming to give their departed sisters a proper send-off.

The mastermind behind this presentation, Director Darlene Singleton, is gearing up for a series of shows that will undoubtedly leave audiences in stitches. The performances are scheduled for the upcoming weekends: Friday to Sunday, followed by shows on Oct. 6-8 and Oct. 13-15.

Mother), Gina Nelson portraying Sister Mary Hubert, Jacey Lett as Sister Robert Anne, Brandy Wells playing Sister Mary Amnesia, and Amelie Beegle in the role of Sister Mary Leo.

They’re supported by a talented crew comprising stage managers, designers, costumers, set builders, and the producer, Felicia Sykes.
