Rockwall, Texas – Texas Night Out, an evening dedicated to community bonding and promoting neighborhood safety, is slated for Tuesday, October 3rd from 6pm to 8pm. Currently, 21 neighborhoods have signed up to participate, and others are encouraged to join the initiative.

This event serves as a fantastic chance for residents to get to know their neighbors better. But it’s not just about community interaction; it’s also about familiarizing oneself with the region’s first responders. Professionals from the Rockwall Police Department, Rockwall Fire Department, and Rockwall County Emergency Medical Services will be making their rounds, offering a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with police officers, firefighters, and paramedics.
There will be a food drive to support Helping Hands of Rockwall County
In the spirit of community giving, there will be a food drive to support Helping Hands of Rockwall County. Attendees are kindly requested to bring along canned or boxed food donations, which will be collected during the event.
Moreover, this year is extra special, as it marks the 40th anniversary of National Night Out. The Rockwall Police Department is enthusiastic about visiting various neighborhood events to celebrate and foster deeper connections with the community they diligently serve.
