Rockwall County unites against child abuse with Go Blue for Kids Kickoff Event on March 27th

Rockwall County, Texas – With the 7th Annual Go Blue for Kids Kickoff Event on March 27th, the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County (CACRC) will inspire the community to fight child abuse. This program, which runs from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Standard Service in Heath, is essential preparation to Child Abuse Prevention Month observed in April.

The family-friendly event offers an evening full of exciting activities fit for all ages. The several attractions of the event—a kid zone, toddler zone, bounce house, and rock-climbing wall—ensure that the younger guests have entertainment all evening long. Apart from live entertainment, extra elements include a photo booth and a balloon artist which are meant to boost the community spirit. The youngsters will get complimentary cotton candy as a tasty treat.

The Go Blue for Kids event is not only about pleasure; it’s also a major forum for raising awareness of the grave problem of child abuse. As Child Abuse Prevention Month, April finds the CAC continuing its Go Blue for Kids program. To show their support of the cause, local businesses and people are wearing blue, the official color signifying the fight against child abuse.
