Rockwall, Texas – “Awarding the Innovative Teaching Grants is the culmination of the REF’s year-round efforts with community supporters and business partners,” Rockwall ISD Education Foundation Executive Director Asheli Neill said in a press release after some Rockwall ISD teachers were awarded grants, an initiative that happens every year with an effort to support teachers who implement innovative teaching methods.

Giving out over $37,000 in grants for the 2023–2024 school year, the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation (REF) did a lot more this year to support new, innovative ways of teaching. Thanks to the kind donations of people in the Rockwall community, including Rockwall businesses, this impressive amount is $15,000 more than the previous year.
Every year, the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation has a practice of asking teachers to apply for grants that will help them make new projects. The goal of these projects is to get students and teachers involved in new, interesting, and creative ways that will make learning more fun.
